Mount Blue State Park provides boating access to Webb Lake, a 2,100-acre lake in the western part of the state, at the town of Weld. Nearly twenty miles of shoreline wrap this reservoir filled with a nice variety of fish species. Trout, salmon and bass are the headliners here, plus the lake offers good fishing for perch, sunfish and chain pickerel. There is no marina, but rental boats, camping, dining and lodging await visitors to this little fishing paradise. Kayaks and canoes allow fishing enthusiasts to enjoy the great outdoors up close and personal.
