Several boat launch ramps welcome boating and fishing enthusiasts at Pushaw Lake, a 5,000-acre lake in the south-central part of the state, at Glenburn. Other than the very southeast and northwest corners of the lake, the 30 plus miles of shoreline is developed with homes and docks. Camping, RV hookups, lodging, rental boats, marinas, restaurants and stores await visitors. Bass, both largemouth and smallmouth, are the favored species here. In addition there is plenty of perch, sunfish and chain pickerel to keep anglers returning again and again.
