Other species in the lake include crappie, walleye, trout, sunfish and perch. This large body of water is a 5,700-acre lake in the northeast corner of the lower peninsula. It has 35 miles of shoreline to survey during the season, and there is good Ice fishing in winter, especially for big perch and walleye. While this lake is best fished from a boat, determined anglers can find places for fishing from the bank.

Located in the southeast section of the lake, off E Grand Lake Road, this is a two-lane, concrete ramp with a dock and gravel parking.

Fletcher-Gilchrist Park Boat Launch Ramp
Located in the northwest section of the lake, off E County Road 638, this is a one-lane, concrete ramp with a dock and gravel parking.
