Spring Shores provides lakeside access with two boat ramps, plenty of parking, a marina, boat rentals and a convenience store. Sandy Point and Discovery provide day-use areas for swimming, picnicking and fishing. The lake has over 40 miles of shoreline, much of which is steep banks. Some areas work nicely for fishing from the bank, depending on water levels. The lake and fishing are well suited to large boats, but canoes, kayaks and car-toppers can find plenty of water for an enjoyable day at the lake.
