Larger lakes across the state, with some of these miscellaneous fish populations, include Blue Marsh Lake, Glendale Lake, High Point Reservoir, Kahle Lake, Keystone Lake, Lackawanna Lake, Lake Arthur, Lake Erie, Lake Wallenpaupack, Marsh Creek Lake, Pymatuning Lake, Raystown Lake, Shawnee Lake, Shenango River Lake, Tamarack Lake, Yellow Creek Lake and Youghiogheny River Lake.
Two of the top lakes for muskie are Lake Arthur and Pymatuning Lake. Glendale Lake and High Point Lake are top choices for northern pike.

Conneaut Lake produced the state record muskie (Muskellunge).
The state record northern pike came out of Allegheny Reservoir.
Jeff Trauger of Plumstead Township, Bucks County caught and released this monster 48", 32lb musky with a 24" girth.
