AKA: Lake Winnisquam
What to fish for...
Fishing for largemouth bass, smallmouth bass, black crappie, rainbow trout, lake trout, bluegill, rock bass, white perch, landlocked salmon and chain pickerel at Winnisquam Lake in New Hampshire.
Year-round fishing attracts anglers to Winnisquam Lake in search of the bass, crappie, trout, sunfish, perch, salmon and pickerel residing here. It is a 4,300-acre lake in the east-central part of the state, with almost 30 miles of shoreline. Ice fishing in winter and conventional fishing during the warmer months both continue to produce great fishing memories and an excellent fish fry. Marinas and boat ramps serve the needs of the boating public, and there are rental boats available at the lake. Several areas around the lake have public access to beaches and sections of the shoreline for fishing from the bank.
